I think AI can be used for the same thing. Lose direct control over the process of making music and surprise ourselves and widen our horizon. Find new things we couldn't have found without. Not to replace anything else, to add to it. New art media always brought new ideas. Just look what film did...

Unfortunately I am not aware of any music by others yet. I am mostly talking about creating myself. The hashtag I used hinted at John Cage. I love his approach of making it all about the music and remove the musician/composer. He used chance to achieve that surprise factor. 1/2
