I think both games are super innovative. The cursor style movement takes some getting used to. Both have great stories and supporting characters. Some people don’t enjoy the pacing of revisiting certain areas but it didn’t bother me and I loved the use of top and bottom screens during boss battles!

I’m sorry to say you need it and it was totally worth it 😔
