Yes, this takes time and work but take it from someone whose entire career is based on listening, it is very much worth it.

#STFU does not mean to stop talking/posting entirely. We obviously benefit from sharing and hearing many different perspectives. It does mean being a bit more intentional though and giving sincere listening to everyone when they are talking in meetings, on social media, wherever.
