The School of Natural Sciences Speaker Series is back for another year!

All sessions will take place in the ELC (FA 386), with doors opening at 2:00 PM. Presentations will run around 40–45 minutes, followed by a Q&A.

Special thanks to Dr. Kenney and Dr. Favot for organizing this year’s series.

This year, we’re celebrating 20 years of Science Communication at Laurentian University, the first and only graduate program of its kind in Canada, delivered in partnership with @sciencenorth.

Anmol Bola présentera sa thèse de maîtrise en sciences chimiques intitulée «La déficience en IRP1 favorise l'activation des fibroblastes par le biais d'une dérégulation du fer: modulation protectrice par le H2S». La présentation aura lieu le mardi 9 septembre à 13 h dans la salle FA-386 ou via Zoom.

The fluffy clouds we pictured as kids are very heavy. A typical cumulus cloud can weigh as much as a fully loaded Boeing 747. They float because the moist air inside is lighter than the dry air below, helping them stay suspended in the sky.
