He got pretty much nothing to defend till Roland Garros so it now looks almost 99% sure that Sinner and Alcaraz will be the top 2 seeds in Paris.

Which of the Big 3 do you think you’re most similar to? Or which one would you like to be like?

Alcaraz: I’m not a big fan of comparisons. Of course, it’s an honor to be compared to the three greatest of all time, but I’m Carlos Alcaraz, and I’m just trying to follow my own path — nothing more.

"I’ve always said I’d like to be the greatest in history and have a seat at the Big Three’s table, but that’s a big statement — not an obsession. And I always say I’d love to be remembered as an inspiration, someone who had fun doing what he loved, with a smile and making people enjoy it too."

Alcaraz.

"I’m not obsessed with being the best in the world. I was number one a few years ago, and I was happy. Now I’m number three, and I’m just as happy. I’m enjoying the journey, the sport, and life."

Alcaraz, a multimillionaire, still lives with his parents. And he doesn't want to change that.

"I don’t have much free time. I’m really happy when I get to go back to my parents' home after a long tour or a stretch of tournaments."

Alcaraz was asked by GQ Spain if he thinks about winning +20 Slams.

"It’s hard for me to talk about winning 20 Grand Slam titles right now. I only have four, and it would be a mistake to think about reaching 20 when the next one would just be my 5th."

Did Alcaraz change since it all started?

"More than changing, I’d say evolving. Even though I’m still very young, I came into the circuit as just a kid. During this time, I’ve learned a bit about how everything (...) The day I stop evolving, we’ll be in trouble…"

Alcaraz on why he decided to show his personal side.

"People might see us on the tennis court or in front of a microphone. But they don’t see us when the cameras are off: in the locker room, at home, with friends, in our free time... I thought it would be interesting to show that side too".

Alcaraz enjoyed his @netflix series.

"I loved it — mainly because it truly reflects who I am and the people who are with me on this journey. I think everyone who watches it will end up feeling like they know me a little better, especially on a personal level."
