Hey everyone! Even though the page is up there seems to be a licensing issue with the demo. I can't figure out what is causing this issue, it may be a bug with Steam due to the page being reinstated so fast. I've contacted steam support to try and get this resolved ASAP. Hey everyone. The Allumeria Steam page is currently down because Microsoft has filed a false DMCA claim on it. They sent an email earlier today claiming that this screenshot infringes on their copyright. I am taking a moment to figure out what my path is going forward, will update soon. #gamedev

I have plans to do a native linux version within the next year, it depends on how busy I am, since I will have to swap out the audio library i am using and re-write some things

Probably no mac version for a long time, I'd have to invest in getting a mac myself and trying to get it working. Linux on the other hand, i would like to try and get a native linux build by 1.0. In the mean time, I've heard that on arch it runs flawlessly through proton.

I've just added skin support to Allumeria, and I've tried to make a skin model format that is somewhat flexible and allows for more varied and interesting head designs while still only needing a single texture atlas to edit. Could also support non-human stuff like cat ears etc. #gamedev #indiedev

I'm avoiding chiselling, even though its very powerful and gives a lot of player freedom i feel like it increases the complexity way too much. I prefer when detailing is done at a macro scale

You will at some point. Since I have been working on multiplayer there is now an actual player model, and you can see the held item and armour etc. I just need to make it possible to see in singleplayer

hahaha nice. This wire stuff is just a short venture to get me feeling passionate about developing again. It's been almost 2 months since I have added any new content since i've been stuck doing multiplayer, so this is a chance for me to have some fun again. :)

Fixed some inconsistency issues, and added a t flip flop gate. Here I am using the t flip flops as a binary counter. I think i need some sort of clock gate and a memory cell next. Tomorrow I will get back to work on multiplayer and start editing a trailer for the demo :) #gamedev #indiedev
