of course, Marxism is a Science. But you are forgetting Historical Materialism in this sense, that at the time of Marx writings, Capitalism was still a progressive force. that is all it means. It is of course not one now, and hasnt been one for a long time, such as in Lenin's time and onward.

You havent read Marx. Marx himself states that Capitalism was Progressive during his time, but would soon lose its progressive character. That is when Socialism comes in. Capitalism ONCE was progressive, but it hasn't been for some time now.
