In an attempt to enhance the child's exposure to her heritage, I am going to start cooking more Mexican food.
Tonight we have picadillo.

Thank you. But it's part of the journey.
A week after I submitted it I had an idea for someone to change in the story. But I didn't want to withdraw it to make the change because the submission window was tight. So I decided to wait. Now I have the chance to evolve the story.

I never did find it, it was a search link that bypasses the ai overview. It's still working for me. I'll poke around and see if I can remember the process enough to tell you how to do it.

I think the best part of SDCC was when a kid came to our table and read the entirety of IT’S NOT SCARY to her 4-year-old cousin. She did all the voices and everything, practically pro quality! Couldn’t believe it. Anyway hire that kid for something!

I wanna say that there have been studies, but it's been so long I can't remember many details, that children who were taught "baby sign" have a more solid foundation for communication.
My theory, the more kinds of communication a child is exposed to, the more they know is possible.
