9 August 1934 | A French Jewish boy, Henri Kotlina, was born in Nancy.

In November 1942 he was deported to #Auschwitz and murdered in a gas chamber after the selection.

8 August 1924 | French Jewish boy, William Schwartzmann, was born in Paris.

He was deported to #Auschwitz from Drancy on 23 September 1942. He did not survive.

7 August 1942 | A transport of 1014 Jews deported from Beaune-la-Rolande in occupied France arrived at #Auschwitz: 588 men and boys and 426 women and girls.

After arrival selection 704 people were murdered immediately in the gas chambers. Among them was Chaja Krebs who was born in Jarosław.

2 August 1943 | 1,000 Jews arrived at Auschwitz from Drancy in German-occupied France. After the selection 218 men & 55 women were registered as prisoners.

The remaining 727 people were murdered in gas chambers.
Françoise Sukno was among them. She was almost 3 months old.

Bob Wilson s'est éteint à l'âge de 83 ans ce 31 juillet.
Invité prestigieux de la série "Une œuvre, un regard" en 2020, il avait choisi de parler de sa relation aux Nymphéas de Claude Monet.
Un épisode que nous rediffusons aujourd'hui en hommage à cet artiste visionnaire.
