This is also a prime opportunity to put Canadian cons on the map internationally, when people think of Canada, they think of kind people, maple syrup (syrupy paw jobs) and of course winter, snow and all the things that come with it. We need a winter con-

-putting another con in downtown Toronto. Heck another idea is to book out a skii resort in the Rockies, the opportunities in Canada are endless when it comes to the potential for a winter convention. Again I love our current line up of cons, but the times between the cons and when they are hosted-

-a con like MFF for Canadians would be hugely beneficial, especially with the large windows of time between cons in Canada, for myself the largest window being 7 months.

We also have plenty of cities that would be perfect to host a winter con, Montreal, Quebec city, Niagara, the GTA or even-

-become in recent years and how dangerous traveling to the US can be right now, especially for Canadians and the threats made by the US government to Canada, staying here, supporting our cons, our cities and our economy should come first, and having a con in the winter that could take the spot of-

-that would arise from this, with not only the obvious like photos, events and such but the economical benefit to the host hotel and city would be great.

Now more than ever is the perfect time and opportunity to get a winter con on the go too, with how volatile our neighbours to the south have-

But why on earth do we not have a winter convention? It doesn't make any sense. All of our cons with the exception of FE are in the summer or fall, with FE being early spring, and if you know furries and fursuiters you know how hot things can get, a winter con would be perfect. And the opportunity-

(This isn't a rant to attack cons in Canada rather to ask a question I've had for a very long time)

So to preface this, I absolutely love the cons in Canada, Furnal Equinox, Fur-Eh, CanFur, Calfurry and VancouFur, all amazing cons and spaces for us as Canadian furs.
