So grandma is in a rehab facility because of her stroke and she’s miserable. Godmother in the hospital with dementia and kidney failure. Aunt with stage 4 with days to live. And I still have to work, be a mother and grandmother, attend jury duty , not smack the shit outta anyone.

Obviously pay your bills etc but don’t spend your entire paycheck paying other people.

One of my best and most memorable pieces of advice from my dad is pay yourself first. Every time you receive money especially money you worked for, pay yourself first. Otherwise save something every time.

Baby dad lives 6 blocks from our daughter school and even when he’s not working he’s not available to pick her up. And I live 25 minutes away. I take her to and from school every day. He had 4 cars and more money than me but obviously hate us both. Sad “dad “
