Alex Jeffrey Pretti was an ICU nurse at a VA hospital. His life, through his profession, was dedicated to serving his community and our country.

As so many have now seen on video, his final act before he was killed by federal agents was doing everything in his power to protect his community.

Today, Donald Trump and his administration are once again trampling on our rights and our freedoms. Journalists Don Lemon and Georgia Fort were fulfilling their duty to the American people to report and inform, and they have been arrested for it.

The First Amendment is a foundational promise to every American: Each of us has the freedom to speak, to report, and to hold those in power accountable without fear of retribution or retaliation.

We should have put Nixon in jail instead of pardoning him. But the powerful always protect their own. That’s why Ford pardoned him. So the next guy could get away with it too. We need to bring back the death penalty for high treason. We need a deterrent.

I remember this so well. I can remember seeing that same National Enquirer in the grocery store checkout line. If only things were like that now. We wouldn’t be where we are. 😡

They don't want to sweep in under the rug. They want to normalize it. They want to make it acceptable, for billionaire insiders, to remain above the law.

I remember when the hint of an affair brought down an otherwise excellent presidential candidate.
Now raping children is something republicans and mainstream media are interested in sweeping under the rug.
