I respectfully disagree. He did pretty amazing things with a completely hostile Congress. And it would require Congress and SCITUS to enforce the actual guardrails that exist or to hold the Fascist in Chief accountable for all the laws and norms.

I have a pilot that is in very good shape. In the current climate, its genre might have a better chance of moving forward if set in the UK as opposed to Massachusetts, as it currently is. Thoughts on resources to help make the language more regionally authentic?

If you live outside a state/city & comment on what Dem in that state/city is acceptable to you - be circumspect. Dems, unlike the current GOP are rarely one-size-fits-all. Some areas will embrace a Socialist Dem, some a Centrist Dem. We actually ARE a big tent. And ANY Dem beats a Fascist.

Where I work doesn't re-enact the War itself, only the Tea Party. And as far as that goes, our Black historical interpreters represent free black citizens from Massachusetts colony.

I've been a Revolutionary War "historical re-enactor" as one of the Sons of Liberty. I keep hoping for a few key events to turn out differently and I wake up with the Union Jack flying over the Massachusetts State House - and Massachusetts is closer to that. than most of the USA right now.
