Nonprofits are considered DEI and the IRS laid off the specialist that was getting Itasca Pride set up. I mailed the final document last Wed. And now we have to scramble to resubmit. Fuck this. Just one example of why I've got nothing left to give right now.

I just saw a discussion where someone suggested calling corporations that hire lobbyists instead of calling your senators. Telling them how getting rid of NOAA, dept of labor, etc. Will fuck them over. Tell them you won't support their business bc of what they've done.

I'm so tempted to actually post well thought out essays on Substack but I'm not ready to fight with neoliberals in the comments... Especially ones I have to share a community with in real life 🥴. But isn't that part of my duty as a white organizer? To inform and redirect my community?
