I loved their Together Alone album so much. I was 17 when it came out and you know how that music era in ones life is always the most impactful.

Sat in front of Kylie at Rent the musical; shared a lift with Regurgitator; Saw Alice Cooper walking through Prahran, sold a hat to Angie Hart; saw Tim Finn in our work cafe; saw Neil Finn out walking on Mangawhau!

I met Tim Finn too, I was a bit starstruck.

I assumed Tim Finn sang almost all the SplitEnz singles, but young ‘bro’, who went onto such great things, sang this hit. Both do standout #songwriting. #neilfinn

Together Alone by Crowded House is possibly my favourite album. I not only enjoy the music but I enjoy the memories it conjures of me listening to the music so long ago. 🎶

I have trouble with this album (unique for CH with me). It’s a nice song but doesn’t have that high or that hook. It has a little hint of the Finn album with the background sounds, which is always a good thing. The harmonies are stunning though.
