I suppose that latter is the equivalent of ending section 28? Sex reassignment is a protected characteristic in the uk but that doesn’t seem to mean much.

Or if even THAT is too hard then at very least not banning mentions of trans children at school and requiring schools to out kids to their parents. Ensuring people can socially transition without medical or psychiatric intervention (eg kids AND adults can wear clothes they like and cut their hair)

Personally I’d think the middle ground is puberty blockers & (gender affirming) talk therapy but nooooo preventing difficult to reverse physical changes with no known long term side effects despite having used blockers on cis kids for decades is too scawy
