Almost as if the ‘people not in cars’ have no value when you look at the quality of infrastructure for pedestrians / rollers / cyclists.
1/2 mile stretch of road near my home recently resurfaced.
Sub-standard, obscenely narrow pavements with trip hazards, standing water everywhere - hmm…..
Yes, Swansea Council refuse point blank to change crossing timings and priority - can’t expect those nice warm, dry drivers to be inconvenienced for even 30 secs so a freezing cold, dripping wet pedestrian or cyclist can get somewhere safely.

Crossing junction with child last week, elderly male driver barely slowed as he turned.
When I pointed out it was our right way, he told me to ‘fuck off’ and elderly female passenger just screamed ‘wanker, wanker…’

Extremely, extremely poor in South Wales.
Anything that can be done to deny and obfuscate seems to be top priority.
Enforcement on roads and pavements is non existent and repeated requests for action go nowhere.
Dragged kicking and screaming into finally acknowledging what was there for all to see.
