The social media bans show lack of willing to invest in the younger generations, but also the lacking ability to look into a mirror. Social media is as much a problem for the older generations as it is for the younger...

Also education is a major problem, with schools being underfunded almost everywhere internationally, while not offering important subjects as a result. Subjects like cyber safety, home economics, and social care aren't part of the curriculum in most parts of the world, regardless of importance.

Instead of governments doing anything to resolve this, they actually are a major problem in regards to the declining mental health of young people. Lots of facilities for young people have been dismantled, by this more often than not decreasing the amount of jobs as well.

Social media bans wouldn't do anything in regards to the problem that do exist, which are mainly the declining mental health of young people. Many of these problems are the result of decreasing support systems that exist these days, for all ages.

This is actually correct. Social media bans would additionally go against the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.

It's quite a troubling situation, as countries like Australia, France, Greece, and Spain are still notable for wanting to put social media bans into place.

When my generation (Alpha) grows up, we'll keep pushing forward what Gen Z is starting now. Finally a generation that won't let oppression and corruption go unchecked. The time of corruption and oppression is coming to an end.

Nepal is just the beginning, since several other countries are still planning to put social media bans in place. It'll be interesting to see how more countries will fall apart because older generations keep choosing to oppress us younger people.
