We do too! It's so simple and the unpredictability of public space makes it pretty exciting. Even people who don't play, walk past but start talking about cricket, unexpectedly.

We had an amazing grab from a Dad with his kids & some skaters diving for catches too.

Some interlopers have joined in for an hour or more. Others have a few hits, a bowl, a field or some umpiring. We had about 16 slips at one point today. I obviously bowled it down the legside then tho! Gah

Highlight #2: Our second (now annual) family cricket day was bigger and better than 2023. Over 150 people enjoyed the day from either side of the boundary rope. A real focus on making it a great day for spectators and extended family worked well this year. Treasure hunt, BBQ, 🍺 bouncy 🏰 etc #Cricket

This is such a great picture. Particularly fascinated by it because we've started playing street cricket too. Taking the game to places where people already spend time brings an excitement, unpredictability and potentially A LOT of fielders. FYI we're playing in Bristol City centre this Sat at Noon🏏
