It was hard to tell in the dark of my commute this morning, but this may have frozen up or cleared enough to ride through now. City has put up signage on either side indicating flooding pathway. #yycbike

Did a recon ride this morning to check on this section. It is now completely frozen over and rideable if you are careful. However, we now have the road underpass at the St. George's drive zoo bridge flooded out and very not frozen. #yycbike

A photo looking east of the bow river pathway alongside the zoo. You can see the river water has flooded onto the pathway, making it very risky to try and ride through in the cold weather.

Heads up #yycbike, the pathway around the zoo has flooded due to the river ice jamming. St. George’s drive pathways would be the detour to use.
