I'm not seeing enough denunciations of this apartheid from even 1% people living there. There might be a few who are against the genocide, but the harmful perspective is still there. Why? Is it that there are rightful ppl who exist but are being censored/threatened? Or are all of them deranged?

There was a point where I'd cut some slack for them thinking how in my own country violence against minority sects runs deeper than blood in the avg person. Despite that I came across enough folks, educated or not, who disagree & fight against it at the risk of their own lives & livelihood.

Yet we're the 'brainwashed' ones, or 'biased' as a colleague (pro-colonization) put it.
It's very triggering now to see blatant propaganda. I used to ignore commenting on it, but sometimes you come across stinky turd that smells so bad it's hard to ignore.

Now I didn't know much about this particular piece of history back then, nor did I realize as a teenager just how biased history can be when told only from the victor's perspective. But heck even I knew how to call a duck a duck when international laws were violated.

Call it what it is - "I was unhappy with myself", "I don't fit my own visual ideals" that gives much more information about your goals & is more respectable compared to generalizing or attaching some form of moral superiority to thinness/fitness.

I get not being satisfied with your looks. But when you say "I was fat & sad" it adds to the existing negative, & harmful stereotype that people in bigger bodies are meant to be sad/unhappy. They're not mate. It's just your own preferences that make you unhappy with yourself.

Ultimately, when people with power say "violence is unacceptable" - they mean "violence against us is unacceptable", nothing more, nothing less. It foregoes that violence for those with power tends to come from greed, and violence against them tends to come from need.
