That town has been evil since forever. Way in the long ago times but just vile. Not sure what happened there, maybe some coal and coke for the steel mill in Pueblo about a century ago.

Good news is those "exploding transformers" are just high voltage fuses blowing as designed. The dramatic sound and flash are part of cutting off the circuit by vaporizing a little of it.
