As for my other point, the article written by Dogpatch Press is full of blatant lies, wild speculation and rumor making it more of a misinformation hitpiece rather than actual journalism. It falls quite short of my standard for "incredible investigative work" hence what I said.

As someone who has actually participated actively in the fandom for the past 13 years I can say that I do not share their view. People a decade ago largely did not care about imaginary "Nazis" because that term had not been weaponized yet, and people actually knew how to take a joke.

You're mistaken. They claim to speak as an authority figure in the fandom despite having only a passing interest in it at its peak popularity, likely indicating they never were that deeply involved in it.
Like I said, it is a fact and is relevant to this discussion not just a random attack.

The staff continued to try and to cover up their own lies so they made more excuses like "rate limiting" even though my script obeyed the rate limit. It fooled people like the one you're replying to though into thinking I am somehow the villain. It was never an issue about "botting" uploads.

Come time for the 2 millionth image I was prepared to expose the rigging, another simple script and hit the 2 millionth as well. At that point the same thing happened and I complained about it since I confirmed my suspicions that things were not being done fairly.

I hit the millionth image, however instead of a fair competition like people were expecting, the staff had secretly rigged it to override the upload. This might not have been so bad, except upon questioning the staff denied any sort of rigging and gaslit everyone into thinking it wasn't the case.

For the actual story, many were preparing for the millionth image upload (myself included) to try and snipe it, and yes people including myself were employing simple scripts to trigger the upload, that is just how it was done back then for fun.

It would be wild if what they said were true I agree! Of course as we both know your little community of friends cannot be honest as that'd mean they would be unable to make people they dislike look bad.

Brother that post being shown has nothing to do with Mare Fair, rather it was a reply from a year ago to some prudes on Twitter trying to act like they can police what people are into in the furry community.

For the record, I in no way support animal abuse like you seem to be implying. In fact, I am a vegan as many who knows me would know since I do care greatly about improving how animals are treated. Fantasy and reality are not the same thing and anyone saying otherwise is simply being disingenuous.

Note a defense of zoophilia in this context was referring purely to the fetish and depictions in fantasy material (artwork, writing, etc), not advocating for real life animal abuse.
If you are going to generalize everyone with a fetish negatively you are like my original post said, a bigot.

I really don't, again other than that you drew a few things that I liked on Derpi. I argue with many people online and I sure don't just remember people because of that. In fact I am historically rather bad with names because my brain has more important things to be remembering I'd imagine.

You seem to think it's some crazy revelation that racists exist when some percentage of the general population is. I do not doubt they exist, however I do not "protect" such people.

I never said you weren't part of the community, in fact I am totally fine with such people existing. Like I said though I just think you liked it when it was popular as many did around that time and that means you may be lacking more in-depth information especially now.

Of course other conventions can be fun too, but it's kinda hard to compete when Mare Fair is the only 18+ pony con currently out there. It may surprise people but many do not want minors hanging around an adult-oriented convention as it alters the convention's events/atmosphere for obvious reasons.

Those words are doing a lot of heavy lifting. If by "promote" you mean "run a site which was a bit too lenient on what could be uploaded in the past" and by "leadership" you mean one person, then yes, but that's hardly relevant to the con. Mare Fair is the most enjoyable pony con in my experience.

Also as an aside I find it interesting how you say to "support the freaks" but also seem to dislike Mare Fair because of its non-conformity to society's status quo in various ways (this is the point of edgy humor for instance). Very curious.

There are indeed various attendees and etc who hold such beliefs that furries are "bad" or something, but that does not speak for the con. Many attendees participate in the furry fandom or have similar interests and wouldn't say such things as it'd indeed be like throwing stones in a glass house.

Who is this "they" you're referring to? Mare Fair has never criticized furries for such things. If anything the most the convention has done has poked fun at the fact that many pony cons lack pony focus and include furry stuff which is part of why Mare Fair was made (to be a more pony-centric con).

Also I think you overestimate the effectiveness of blocklists on the internet.

Also I am not sure what intolerance you speak of. Mare Fair is plenty tolerant, moreso than most conventions in fact as it does not engage in things like banning attendees for having specific political beliefs. It's a pony con, that's the main requirement for its focus really.

If ignoring and insulting anyone who raises an objection to something you want to think is true is how you handle things then that's unfortunate for you.
And no that's not my "entire presence on here", I just happen to have found people spreading rumors about Mare Fair here recently.

I don't get what you're trying to say. Again, the person you're referring to who allegedly caused harm to horses is no longer part of Mare Fair nor was ever in any significant position (e.g. not a board member or a lead), just a volunteer. What else do you want them to do?
