What an amazing return to Metroid Prime. Just the story ending was abysmal and pissed me off.

Good game. But the story was so… nothing. Genuinely disappointed after how they hyped it up.

I know this is gonna sound obvious but I am genuinely shocked by how much I adore this game.

Silent Hill f

I really loved this game in it‘s first 2/3… the finale was just really fuckinv ass and ruined any tension I could have and the first ending is so… nothing that I almost didn’t want to start the second playthrough. Let‘s hope the next few runs are better.

I didn’t even want to play this because I’m not really all that much of a DK fan. But the last trailer was so fun it completely shifted my want to play this game. And yeah. Except a few annoyances, this is great.

V RISING

probably one of my favorite survival games ever. The concept of a Diablo like ARPG, mixed with a survival crafting game, where you play as a vampire is just too good.

Sonic and the Black Knight

This cover alone gives me so much nostalgia. The game‘s clunky as hell. But it‘s so much fun. Love just beating it in one sitting from time to time.

Warhammer 40K Darktide

Playing the game since launch. But I only now for the first time leveled a class to max. Perfect timing. Because the game also just got a new class and finally also runs properly.

Phantom Spark

A really cool looking little racer. But I sadly lost interest after I realised that you don’t really race here but only do time trials.

It just feels so unsatisfying. Not to mention you now have to purchase new cups with ingame currency. So you have to replay the same cups multiple times to unlock new ones. For each difficulty separately of course.

Like wtf is this.

Especially considering that the same limitation doesn’t apply to your enemies. No, they can get crashed as much as they want and still come back. Leading again to this frustrating issue with them almost feeling impossible to catch up with.

These cars feel so insanely fragile. Especially if you crash a wall while jumping because you went to fast. In a game called FAST.

This makes the hero mode also almost unplayable for me. Having a health bar with a game over on death is fun, but if everything oneshots you, it‘s just frustrating.

The new jump mechanic isn’t fun and ads nothing but more annoying track design and frustration due to slightly misplaced jumps that lead to instant death.
A lot does that in the game tbh.

I have never seen a worse and more obvious case of rubber banding in any other racing game ever made. They don’t just catch up, they speed past you without even boosting.
Meanwhile the first place is building up an insane lead that you are objectively unable to catch up to sometimes.

Gameplay is fun enough and it‘s visually stunning. But the rubber banding is as bad as ever, if not worse. It‘s absolutely perverse how enemies always manage to catch up, while it feels almost impossible to do so yourself once you reach higher difficulties.

Fast Fusion

They learned absolutely nothing from the issues of the previous game.

2025 No 16: Elden Ring Nightreign

I liked it. Especially with friends. With randoms, it‘s a massive gamble. But with the right group, it‘s hilarious. Even though all bosses are a bit to spongy for my liking.
