In their context binding is a very charged word, so for her to use that specific word so that she can save him, and then in ep 8 he tells her to bind him to her light also to save him is… ahh. I love the poetry of it all.

It’s such a brilliant film but the book is just as good. John’s story is incredible. He’s such a beautiful, warm soul, full of hope and love and kindness for everyone. He’s spent his whole life in service to others and he’s still doing it now with sharing himself and of himself so freely.
