A great long read detailing the challenges faced in the rollout of the federal broadband program, and suggests that the problems in implementation extend far beyond regulatory barriers.
Lack of open access to broadband lines—a product of corporate power—have enforced monopoly control & high prices.
I say a lot of things are “unbelievable” that are probably not actually unbelievable. But finishing this legislative session without any transportation bill whatsoever, after preparing for it as the top priority long before the session started, that *is* unbelievable.
