From my experience, people who have detransitioned have been used as argumentative ammo against the trans community and I didn’t want to contribute to that. I’ve said from the beginning in response to said arguments that I need to do what I can to make myself into the person I want to be and 3/?

I didn’t tell anyone except for close friends and family for a while, mainly cause I was worried about what people would think or say. I was kinda worried some of my trans friends would be upset with me, but mainly my worry was for them. 2/?

After 10 of being “in the closet” and 5 years being out as a trans person I made the decision to detransition medically and socially. It was something I thought about for a long time before making the decision, and I realized that just wasn’t who I wanted to be 1/?
