There is something so crazy satisfying about the color pallets you pick for these comics like I feel like I could stick a straw in those colors and drink them and it would be so crispyyy does that make sense?? Also I'm obsessed with how you draw hands, especially Adri's 😩

The first panel shows the outside of a pub during a heavy snowstorm. The pub is named Wolf Pack Tavern, and there's a sign outside that reads 'chimaeras only, no fighting inside'. There's a dinging noise, as someone just entered the door. The next panel shows the busy interior full of drinking partygoers, with two in the middle in the focus: the bartender, who happens to be Adri, and a random girl are talking. The next panel shows a closeup of their interaction, with adri saying 'hey, why don't we continue this conversation after i'm off my shift?' and a smaller panel closeup of his fangs where he says 'i'll be out in a little while'. The next panel shows a bandaged hand tapping lightly on the girl's arm, and saying 'excuse me miss?' The next panel reveals this hand was David's, and he's now pointing to Adri and saying 'do you mind if i have a word with my boyfriend?' I could bawl my eyes out about how Natlan took Thrain in as one of their own without question 500 years ago and then all those years later he came back to sacrifice himself to save them in return 😭 I love his story but if he truly is permanently removed from the playing field I'll be devastated

And mind you I LOVE Thrain and his story and how it comes full circle- though brief- with Natlan but even that was so minimal when it shouldn't have been. Natlan was like a second home to him after the cataclysm but we didn't get to see the weight of that beyond his sacrifice

It makes me so mad to think about because of ALL the harbingers to waste they chose the FIRST? He was the Fatui's best hand to play and they didn't do anything with him 😭 like the Harbinger half of him was just paid absolute dust

I swear it's always my favs why can't they ever get writing I feel utilizes them well 😭

How did he become a harbinger? Why? What has he been doing this whole time + the 500 years he's been alive after he left Natlan? Why with him of all characters did Hoyo just drop when he had so much anticipation?

He's still my favorite character in the game and I love Thrain, I love his story as a Khanriahn but for being the Fatui's #1, for being able to "rival the gods" we hardly saw so little of him and he was gone as soon as we got him
