We already travel out of state for her gender affirming care. The provider is internationally prominent and has connections with providers who may be able to help if the meds become unavailable in the U. S. I’m so grateful that people are organizing at a grassroots level to help.

I’m the parent of a trans child and am terrified of losing access to her meds. Am I correct in understanding that this project does not actually provide any medications, but it provides kits with medical supplies necessary to self-administer the meds?

Unless you have a trans child or have spent lots of time talking to parents of trans kids, you should maybe not take strong opinions on things you don’t understand.

I’m in Texas. My trans kid is okay at school so far. But we are hatching plans for if we have to leave Texas or the USA to get her care. We go out of state now as it is.
