If anyone claims that the current anti-trans panic was caused in any part by trans people advocating for our human rights, that person is lying through their teeth.

The religious right lost on marriage equality, and immediately started going after trans people instead. That's what happened.

For me it's time blindness. What I think is 5 minutes is actually 15, or 20 or 2 hours, they all *feel* the same. There have also been times where I've built in the extra time only for something unexpected like traffic or an accident to negate that effort.
