I really love the feeling of toggling a huge task in the backlog as "done", shutting down my computer after a big happy productive day, and going to bed with a smile and full motivated for tomorrow

You do not need 120fps in your animated movie for it to look good, and changing framerate depending on the dynamic of the scenes/scenario to emphase the strong or lascivious moments, playing with key poses, strong silhouettes, lightning etc... can really be amazing

VERMIN - Saison 1 Épisode 1 [COMPLET]
YouTube video by Bobbypills VERMIN - Saison 1 Épisode 1 [COMPLET]

A French studio (bobbypills) does the same in 2D, you can really see the contrast between the low characters framerate and the global compositing (especially camera and environment) in the Vermin serie! (Adult content in the serie so you know)

I was about to say "hey the jerky framerate for the character's animation emphasing on key poses and strong silhouettes in opposition with the smooth environment and camera animation framerate is really like the spiderman animated movies" and then I saw the studio lmao

A cathedral nave interior. To either side are tall arcades of faceted arches. Many wooden chairs line the floor in rows towards the communion table, lit by two candles. Above the nave is a pointed vault with painted decorations. At the end of the nave are a pair of unique "scissor" arches crossing from one arcade to the other.

4D Rubik's Cube The 4D Rubik's Cube is, as the name says, a virtual "Rubik's Tesseract"; a 3x3x3x3 octachoron with 27 3D-cube stickers per face. It is of course presented as a projection onto 2-space of a projection ...

I am delighted to see that someone already did the 4D rubik's monstrosity

A couple weeks ago I went to the HONK! Untitled Goose Exhibition at the ACMI in Melbourne.

It was a lovely exploration of a truly idiosyncratic game, going into its inspiration, themes, and production; e.g. comparing its use of comedy and classic music to movies.

But there's something more...
