'The Traveler' If you don't look closely, you might mistake this sculpture for just another passenger waiting at the airport.

Konnor Griffin’s 3 home runs are the most by a teenager in a single MLB Spring Training in at least the last 20 years

It puts a smile on my face that Kayla Lund is making an impact in the pros.

That’s crazy. I wonder how TNT adjusts the breaks from here β€” never seen a national TV game with only one break in a period.

And he finished 4th in Rookie of the Year voting.

I need to prepare myself for the worst-case scenario where Griffin is the Opening Day starter but struggles enough that the Pirates don’t get the extra draft pick. Entirely possible!

It was indeed quite a coalition that Fetterman built for that race: staunch progressives (from his Bernie endorsements), disaffected rural Dems (an every-county campaign) and MSNBC-watchers (he made a LOT of appearances on there, especially in 2020).

Wild that he basically betrayed every category.

I can dig that. I do agree with his larger point that β€œwe knew who this guy was!” is very much limited to the people paying very close attention, who represent a small percentage of the nearly 1.3 million Pennsylvanians who voted in that primary.

It was Fetterman's third statewide race in a six-year period. His unorthodox appearance gave him a brand; his service as Wolf's LG gave folks broad assurance. Lamb garnered a lot of establishment support and money, but it was going to be difficult to convince voters Fetterman was now unacceptable.

Fair points from Adam (an excellent Bluesky follow) in this thread.

I’ll only add that Fetterman was practically impossible to beat in that 2022 primary. He was already a name brand across PA, and his opponents were not.

They went to war with Iran (which nobody in America was asking for) so they could conjure an excuse to allow ICE to keep murdering Americans and teargassing schools here at home with impunity (which nobody in America was asking for).

Senator Shrek was on CNN this morning braying about how no American lives were lost and like an hour later we learned there’s already been three Americans killed

Deeply conflicted, Kushner represents the U.S. in high-stakes negotiations with Iran Today in Geneva, Switzerland, Jared Kushner will represent the United States in meetings with Iranian officials β€” a last-ditch effort to avoid war.

Just a reminder: instead of an actual diplomat, we sent Trump’s deeply compromised son-in-law as the lead negotiator to avert war with Iran.

I'm glad to see the map have more of an emphasis on frequency. There are some...interesting changes. The 71C becomes a PRTX Route that goes all the way downtown. I was rooting for a stronger 88 being restored to Wilkinsburg.

I really wish they wouldn't get rid of the G/P/Ys for lines on busways.

I got them to fix the extremely dumb thing they did in west view, but the 16 back to 20 minutes instead of 30 which is still worse than it is now but better overall. They made it go on to 65 for a few blocks for some reason, don't really get that but ya know whatever.

Overall I think it looks really good. We’re getting buses back in Schenley Park, more connections between South Side and Oakland, South Hills and North Hills to Oakland, 28X bypassing Robinson, and overall more crosstown and neighborhood connections

27.02.2026 23:13 β€” πŸ‘ 5    πŸ” 1    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

ooo interesting. I would love that! But it may be just a connecting-to-the-busway thing

Massive W for South Hills residents, IMO! Crosstown route from Carnegie over to Brentwood via Dormont, Brookline. A Carrick to East Liberty route. SO GOOD πŸ‘
