Ouch yes. I've got almost all my DD's set to come out a couple of days after payday so I know where I stand. It's useful, practically, but horrible to be reminded just how much all the bills add up to.

So far, we're re-enforcing the idea that AI is (fairly) good at spotting objects and pattens, but has absolutely zero idea how to contextualise them or understand the underlying art or narrative. I'm not quite sure what this program is trying to prove.

I'd love to spend a few weeks looking through the BBC archives, but I'll have to make to with this intriguing looking doc from @fryrsquared.bsky.social on BBC Four.

AI has so much potential, but it's merely a tool and like all tools needs to be used correctly. Strap in.

It's filmed on one continuous take, which at the time was a huge undertaking. No drones, no AI, and a film camera that weighed a ton. The golden LA lighting is perfect, the technical skill is incredible, and I could watch it all night on loop. I genuinely love that track. Enjoy! #TOTP

It's an utterly beautiful track - one of my all time favourites - from a frankly sublime album, which reminds me of the year I lved in Bristol just as the city was bursting with musicality, and immediately takes me to a happy time and place.

But alongside that, the video is a masterpiece.
