I wouldn’t say that’s accurate, I saw steelix as a y first (top down which you see in battle cameras) before ever looking up concept art. If you didn’t know rayquaza was a delta based on obvious context it would’ve been the same.

The only reason you can’t see manectric is the lighting because it’s dead forward (the howl works because it shows the different planes), and steelix is the same detail as mega rayquaza.

Yup I had this same thought process once I got the desk and it was a little bit bigger than I was expecting from the photos 😂

I don’t agree that pose reliant is an issue given the context of everything around it (and before and afters), especially because it isn’t simply considering arms and legs. A pose would still affect the silhouette regardless if someone chooses to count it or not.

They are shaped, though. And even in a not entirely literal sense it is still the vast majority so the outcome wouldn’t have been “none”. Don’t forget they are described as “mega evolutions” that are “beyond evolution”. Shaped isn’t nearly as exaggerated of a way to describe them.
