Today’s protest art is dedicated to the lady sitting next to me at dinner who interrupted my conversation about protest art to tell me she didn’t agree with us and demand we change the subject.

This is actually the part I was least fine with. They made Kylo a neo-Nazi incel nepo baby, which honestly was perfect, no notes, but then they had the audacity to not only redeem him but to give him a kiss with the female lead he spent the whole first movie basically stalking and assaulting?

Isn’t the whole point of the primary to determine who is the best candidate to nominate for the general?

Surely a bunch of people saying “this guy sucks and I don’t wanna vote for him in the general” is information that would be useful to that process, yes?

Definitely. When it comes down to it, I probably would hold my nose and vote for Newsom in the general. But wouldn’t it be better to run a candidate that people actually want to vote for, instead?

I think she’s that certain type of character oriented towards teens that will always grate a little on an adult audience. I can imagine myself finding her super cool when I was the target audience’s age.

It’s certainly selective, but not inaccurate. $15 for a fancy cocktail ($17 with tip) is pretty common here in San Francisco. Of course, so are $5 dive bar beers, so 🤷‍♀️
