Black vine weevils, however, are my enemy, destroy blueberry shrubs, and somehow can get in anywhere. They are always (and I apologise for this reference) the lesser of two weevils.

Some sort of are, and contain irritants or are too high in wax (thereby preventing moisture). Balms work well as a protectant against dry air, but to actually heal lips, a creme overnight often works a lot better...
