I actually think it’s more likely that in each case adding Russ to the team just fanned the flames of discontent. I highly doubt any of those 4 coaches were super excited about working him into their rotations.

I don’t know… if every time you showed up on a podcast the other podcast host got fired within a year of your arrival… we might have start digging a little deeper into the correlation of events.

4. Dennis Johnson (BOS - ‘86)

I don't see a scenario in which the Heat want Khris Middleton as part of a Butler trade. I think the Heat are likely looking to reroute Middleton to a fourth team. Maybe the Pels for Zion (ideally) or Ingram if that's all they can get.

This is one reason why there isn't a robust trade market for Jimmy Butler (35). There's not a great track record for that age bracket and above.
