More test renders. while these appear to be stills from a finished animation, character designer Paul Claerhout has clarified they were only ever pre-rendered stills.

According to Paul, the lead characters name was "Hap"

"Arnold Narrowly Avoids A Thrashing", an Anaglyph 3D comic drawn by Craig Bartlett for the "Simpsons Illustrated Annual". [1992]

Along with obviously being the basis for the Nick series, this comic's plot in specific is pulled from in the show's pilot and Season 1's "24 Hours to Live"
