I was interviewed by @reemasabrina.bsky.social about Read This When Things Fall Apart. "Fight for what is sacred to you. And if you don’t know what’s sacred to you yet, I suggest you get out there, amongst other people fighting the good fight, and I suspect you’ll find it."

People break down & drop out of school programs, spend time unhoused, deal with the trauma of cop brutality & psych incarceration & we can't compare ourselves.

There's been a strange thing with the rise of social media over the past couple of decades. Once individuals are "done" with a story, they seem to assume everyone else has moved on too. The fact is that YOU moving on from something has nothing to do with whether others are still focused on it.

Certain things make it really difficult to think clearly. It's not your fault. Just do your best. You can do this.
