GOOD NEWS for one of the UK’s rarest birds. 😍 πŸ™Œ

There are new signs of hope for Capercaillie at RSPB Abernethy, thanks to long-term collaboration between the RSPB, landowners, partners and the Scottish Government.

Hooray for Capercaillie!

Netflix Backs Out of Bid for Warner Bros., Paving Way for an Ellison Takeover

The richest man owns X.

The second and third richest men control Google.

The fourth richest man owns Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.

The fifth richest man owns The Washington Post.

And now the sixth richest could soon take over both Paramount and Warner Bros.

See the problem here?

Thanks for organising everything, Joseph. Ardis would be pretty happy with it, I think.

Ines? As in possibly Inez from Spain? Or as in the surname Innes, missing out an n? I've seen Innes as a boy's first name. Scots surnames are quite popular in that department e.g. Craig, Scott, Lewis, etc.

The Seeds of Scotland’s Highland Clearances In the eighteenth century, landlords in the Scottish Highlands began to exert greater control over what their tenants planted and how they planted it. Cat Scothorne shows how these 'reforms' actually disrupted resilient ecological practices.

They were being demolished due to the poor condition of the buildings. My grandmother lived in such a close & each step was significantly worn down in the middle. She was rehoused by the council to the southside, nearer her family.
