oh thats cool! its a great mineral, i use it A LOT. its one of the easier minerals to turn into paint and it just looks sooo good

hi! the cool thing about pigments is that they can be mixed with just about any medium. i typically use oil paints, but they can be mixed into acrylic mediums, wax, glues, watercolor gums, other paints, shellacs, plasters, etc. pretty much anything transluscent or transparent that can carry it :)

i kind of disappeared form here for a bit. i have had a lot of gardening and cactus stuff to do and im renovating my art studio room so i havent really been painting. right now tho, im making plaster pots for a bunch of little cactus that need to be up-potted
