this is chapter 32’s parallel isn’t it? ian’s full intent was to to go to jo but tj stopped him

you know what’s truly heartbreaking? tj has already given up whatever ambition he had left. ian made him believe he would still be wanted despite that, and i think tj clung to that belief even through his anxiety. if ian ends up leaving with jo, it’s something tj would probably never recover from.

i love chiwoon. he’s the only one who actually tolerates and even encourages tj’s goofy, loser in love ass. no one’s more loyal than him.

100% agree that ian’s proposition was reckless and impossible but at the end of the day standing his ground about not going back to the gang was a step he needed to take to set up healthy boundaries for himself. regardless, dyk needs to start tying up loose ends or the ending won’t be as satisfying.

but then again we’ve been shown ian will easily choose tj no matter what. tj just has to choose him back. but you don’t know with doyak, she enjoys it when tjian are miserable lol jk

alas, all ian knows is that tj doesn’t love him as loudly and proudly as jo does which gave him the highs whenever he’s with jo. he doesn’t know about tj’s sacrifices and if he does, he thinks they don’t matter that much because as far as ian is concerned, the gang don’t mean that much to him.
