Come January 2026, my availability disappears.

Equal parts mortified and grateful, I thought about all the times I've waited for perfect conditions before making a move. The right words. The right moment. The right version of ready.
Meanwhile, flights leave. Restaurants close. Time doesn't wait.

April in Miami taught me something I keep coming back to.
