Lander’s letter to trustees says he likely won’t bring the proposal to a vote before he leaves office, which calls it all into question. We don’t need more talk, we need the results!

However, it isn’t done. Let’s see it enacted, as only the results matter. Otherwise it’s just more talk, on top of years of that, already.

There’s no affordability in a city that’s 20% underwater because sea levels rose 3-5 feet.

And that’s where we’re headed, right now.

They are virtual only. And since July, @bradlander.bsky.social @nyccomptroller.bsky.social apparently hasn’t live-streamed or posted video of meetings. Nothing! Crazy!

It’s our (thin) hope that Lander fulfills his promises, albeit late, as he heads out the door. He’d have a legacy if he does.

But there’s was no way to attend or watch yesterday’s police fund meeting. And since July there’s been no video. No live-streaming of meetings.
