Mrs Wingrove's ironmongers shop, 229 Mare Street, stood just to the south of London Lane.This George James photograph of around 1872 includes the entrance to the south of the courtyard of the Nag's Head Public House. The house has been re-fronted in the 19th century but could well have dated from the late 17th century

Ridley Arms, 17 Ridley Road , Dalston, Hackney E8 At Graham Terrace in 1861 census, at 1 Ridley Road in 1871 census. At 6 Ridley Road by 1896. This pub closed in around 2000 and is now used as a butchers shop.
