In further GP mess ups. The test they did on Monday that they said would take 24 hours and they couldn’t give me any meds until it was done…hasn’t come back yet.

So I’d have been getting gradually worse if I hadn’t gone to the pharmacy.

While she was handing over the prescription from the doctors she was confused why they’d given me something for a symptom but not the overall condition.
I had no clue why either, but now I have medication and the healing process has begun.

They said they didn’t do the same test but they could ask my some questions and maybe get some antibiotics organised anyway.
I was in with the pharmacist for longer than I was in with the person at the gp surgery and she agreed that it’s what I thought it was and sent me on my way with antibiotics.

I left angry that I was going to be unwell and still getting worse. I have very good reason to think I have a specific thing from symptoms to contact.
I go to the pharmacy for the one prescription and while there I asked if they did the same test and how long the results took.

So I did. I showered with difficulty and I walked slowly to the surgery. I was in with someone (not the GP, either a nurse or a healthcare practitioner) for about 5 minutes and they organised something for one of my symptoms but wouldn’t give me antibiotics without a test which could take 48 hours

30 minutes later they called back to say I needed to be in the surgery. I tried to explain to them how my being very contagious and in their waiting room is a bad idea. They actually cut me off mid-sentence to say I had to come in.

Over the weekend I got progressively worse and this morning I called at 8am on the dot. I was number 14 in the queue. Eventually, I explained I needed a telephone appointment and one was booked for later that morning.

Further to my rant this morning, and with added Pippin pics…

I have an illness that is is contagious and very tiring. After nearly a week of it, I called the GP to get help and they directed me to call back Monday morning at 8am…

Very unwell and getting worse every day but having to spend 25 minutes on the phone at 8am to get a telephone appointment from a receptionist who clearly does not give a shit.

I’ll never forgive the tories for what they’ve done to the NHS over a decade of underfunding.

The win now, the biggest win for everyone involved would be they invite John to the Oscars as their guest.
And John Davidson invites them for a cup of tea or a pint.
Showing that education and empathy wins.

Both of these can be true and are true.
If BAFTA had prepared everyone involved for this then what should have a been an amazing night for John wouldn’t have turned into a nightmare.
I like both Delroy Lindo and Michael B. Jordan as actors. I hope they take the time to know John Davidson.

They then should have checked in afterwards with both parties to make sure everything is ok.

John can’t help his tics, and shouldn’t have to constantly apologise for living his life.
Delroy and Michael can’t help being upset by the history and abuse of that word.

My two cents as it were.
The situation at the BAFTA’s is entirely the fault of BAFTA.

They should have explained thoroughly to everyone involved what might occur and why.
They should have specifically had a conversation with Delroy Lindo and Michael B. Jordan knowing the probability of that tic.

Blade but the rave is all dancing to VengaBus.
Blade can’t help but join in, and Quinn sneaks out the back.
He doesn’t lose his hand so doesn’t feel the need to show off to blade later and blade doesn’t escape in time.

I agree but how many of these meetings could have been an Space email?
