I like to think I’m a funny guy. I love video game history & development, & weird web culture. Wannabe voice actor. I stream sometimes. I try to make youtube videos. https://youtube.com/@ghostlord656?si=LhbaaRbBaub6ET7A https://www.twitch.tv/ghostlord377
She Metroid on my Prime til I Beyond
04.12.2025 14:34 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0123) Smiling Friends (Season 3)
10/10 as always but something about this season felt OFF to me for some reason? Something about the tone or just episodes felt more like typical crass adult humor?
Still hella banger regardless, Mr. Boss especially killed it this season. The halloween one is my fav.
122) Dragon Ball DAIMA
Took a while to pick up, but when it did, damn! Not bad!
I really enjoyed a lot of the new concepts introduced, and this had maybe the best animated fights in the whole franchise?? Maybe
It still did take a while to get going, but I love my new Majins Kuu and Duu so much
121) WarioWare Gold
I realize I forgot to include this one, but basically, yeah, super solid WarioWare
The chars and voicework is super charming
I wish I could’ve played it more, but I genuinely cannot get pass the final level because my 3DS microphone is broken, so…
Regardless of the actual quality or content of the series, it sucks when an independent creator gets the rights for their (mostly?) original work swiped away by a company.
Like it would suck regardless if this happened to any other series, just kinda funny it’s this one, lol.
120) Pokémon Legends: Z-A
Uuuugggghhh I really wish this had the QoL, catching and exploration of Arceus because it would 100% be my fav Switch era Pokémon game.
I adore the characters and the city setting so much, it’s still so good regardless but man, it could have been PERFECT
Still very great
I’m so torn between which of the Legends games I prefer, because I think Arceus has the superior catching and map exploration gameplay, while I like the ZA characters and setting much more.
No one from Arceus has filled me with as much whimsy & charm as Jacinthe and Lebanne, among others.
119) Elvira: Mistress of the Dark
Need more silly women icons like Elvira in our culture. This movie was just goofy fun. It wasn’t perfect or anything but I liked it, as my first piece of Elvira media
Just wish it was spookier, then it’d be a Halloween classic, but still a solid 80’s comedy.
118) Hellraiser (1987)
This movie was REALLY not what I thought it would be. What a bizarre sequence of events. But it was kinda cool.
The Cenobyes designs and appearsnce were really cool too though, I liked em.
117) Halloween II (1981)
A lil slow, but solid as far as horror sequels go. Still amusing how Michael Myers is as slow as a tank but sneaky as a ninja. It wasn’t bad.
That poor fucking kid at the start, lmao I laughed so hard bruh.
116) 28 Days Later
The first 15 or so minutes were great. Very atmospheric and moody, the shots of vast empty streets and environmental storytelling were great.
Chars were alright, development felt rushed
The second half lost me cuz it turned into an action thriller with barely any zombies though
115) Frankenstein (1931)
It’s quite good for 1930’s standards, however the monster doesn’t come off as sympathetic as I been led to believe by years of parody media. Neither does Dr. Frankenstein himself doesn’t come off as crazy as I thought he’d be.
From what I get this isn’t a great adaptation.
Idk if I wanna meet someone who’s favorite mon is Jynx or Bruxish.
17.11.2025 01:25 — 👍 4 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0114) Spawn (1997)
This was way more crime drama than I was expecting but damn, was it nice.
Spawn has always been more flash than substance, but his tragic character really got to me in some scenes. I also liked Twitch and Sam, I wish they were around more.
113) Elite Beat Agents
PEAK DS GAME
Absolutely incredible charm and gameflow. Shit hyped me up more than any DS game probably has.
Playing for the first time
Are there any FE Fates stans in the chat?
112) Red Earth
GORGEOUS sprite art for a Capcom arcade game. And extremely interesting concepts in terms of mixing RPG elements in a fighting game. I can only imagine how a modern refined take on this concept could go.
These characters need to come back. Especially Tessa.
Or just Tessa.
111) Halo: Reach
Damn… Another pretty decent Halo campaign, but this one stands above the rest for its pretty tragic story.
It’s nothing too overt or anything, but the simplicity really works. Made that last mission hit harder.
110) Deadstream
Interesting little film about a controversial streamer staying a night in a haunted house to try and regain some of his popularity.
They really sold me on the accuracy of copying clickbait youtuber types, as well as the effects and POV cameras made it so cool.
I didn’t realize you can only get one legendary per save file on SwSh dynamax adventures til too late
OOPS
109) Happy Death Day
I mean I really like Groundhog Day, and this was just another take on the death loop format, so yeah this was really good too. It was done with just as much thought for the main character’s progress too. Really good slasher!
108) Bloodborne
After officially sitting down and giving it a proper dive, I can finally say FromSoft games are not for me.
I totally understand the appeal now, but I got stuck at a boss and depleted my 60+ blood vial supply and I’m like “lol no” not gonna grind all that back til a few months.
Remembering Kirby has lore after playing some of the games after a long while makes me feel a bit sad for not keeping up with the series, I remember it feeling very rewarding to see which bits of lore come up in the next game.
Really hyped for Air Riders, it’ll be so interesting seeing Sakuria back
107) The Blob (1988)
That was a really well paced slowburn and follow-through with the tension, I really liked it. I forgot I was watching a horror for the first like 25 min, felt like an 80’s teen coming of age thing lol.
I actually liked the chars too, I didn’t want most of em to get blob’d.
106) Kirby: Triple Deluxe
This is the year I mod my 3DS, and finally play the Kirby games I missed.
This one was… Fine. It’s baseline good, but for Kirby that may as well be mid.
I’m just not big on the two-plains or motion gimmicks, though commend them for taking advantage of the 3DS
it alright
105) Addams Family Values
Holy shit this one is like 4x funnier than the first one. Made me laugh out loud more than once, which is an achievement cuz ain’t no movies do that for me anymore
The plot kinda feel like “stuff just happens” and not everyone gets to do something but it’s so funny my god
104) Dawn of the Dead (1978)
I can see where Dead Rising came from. This one was kinda neat, kinda weird. The characters were eh. The scenes of them fighting zombies and fucking around the mall were fun. I liked the zombie worldbuilding(?)
But overall? It’s alright. Maybe the remake is better?
103) Scream 2
I’m still a big fan of the first Scream and the sequel didn’t disappoint. The version I watched was zoomed in, instead of widescreen, so I’ll definitelt have to come back to it again.
102) Tron: Ares
Tron goes to the real world dude.
Super bland nothingburger with decent visuals and music.
I could care less for the story or characters. Massive snore.
4/10
Wow that’s lame as hell, thanks
