This was the Landmark staff screening at The Metro, btw, @theendofcinema.bsky.social . I remember the Metro manager on duty apoligizing and saying "They're not mine!."

At the one I went to some rowdy bros took their shirts off to reveal they had S N A K E S painted on their bare chests and were hooting and hollering like it was a football game. They got kicked out before the movie even started! I often wonder what the rest of their night was like.

Atlanta Public School was wild. Things we watched in class:

- Predator 2 (someone convinced the teacher that the thermal vision sequences were "scientific.")
- Bad Boys
- the Zeffirelli Romeo & Juliet (a kid got up and rewound the part with nudity)

Another brother was badly injured and is now in the hospital. The Israeli court decision was supposed to make things a bit quieter for us. But the opposite has been true. The grocery store closest to me replaced all of their produce scales last year with some new "smart" system that uses a camera to ID produce. It kinda works 1/2 the time. Lately all but one has been completely out of order. I can only imagine the bullshit the vendor spewed when selling this tech.
