Each year, New Jersey moves forward with more strong, capable women being elected statewide, and that matters because representation shapes policy. (4/5)
We do not see the same level of government intrusion into men’s bodies and choices.
This issue goes beyond healthcare. Whether it is voting rights, equal pay, or reproductive rights, the common thread has always been power, control, and subjugation. (3/5)
Women’s reproductive freedom remains under assault. Continued scrutiny of medications like mifepristone and misoprostol, and the fact that many women veterans still lack full reproductive care through the VA even in pro-choice states, show how unequal bodily autonomy still is. (2/5)
