A stratification system for breast cancer based on basoluminal tumor cells and spatial tumor architecture Meyer et al. identify a poor-prognosis basoluminal tumor cell phenotype in triple-negative breast cancer. Favorably prognostic are tumor-CD8+ T cell interactions, HLADR expression on tumor cells, and B cell patches. Patient stratification based on tumor cell cytokeratin expression and tumor-immune interactions identifies groups with distinct outcomes across molecular subtypes.
